Saeed has 12 years of international humanitarian/development Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, Learning and Research experience working with INGOs in East Africa, Middle East and South/East Asia, mainly South Sudan, Kenya, Sudan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkey and Canada. Saeed’s formal education included three University degrees: University of Bradford UK, Master of Peace, Conflict and Development (with distinction);  Macquarie University Sydney Australia, Master of Sustainable Development (with a focus on social and environmental sustainability) and Bachelors (four years Honours degree) in Agricultural Economics from Pakistan. During his recent career with Save the Children and Catholic Relief Services in Turkey and Sudan, Saeed led the development and implementation of well-designed and resourced, monitoring and evaluation system, embedded high quality tools and systems for analysis, interpretation and utilization of data, built staff capacity through coaching and mentoring and ensured compliance of all internal and external MEAL requirements. Saeed has been providing high quality technical assistance to program delivery and fundraising teams. He has also been providing strong evidence and learning base to future program designing efforts, including development and implementation of Results Based Management (RBM) system, inclusive of designing logic models and performance measurement frameworks. Saeed has performed his duties in highly fragile settings, like interior Sindh (Pakistan), Juba (South Sudan) and North Sudan. He lives in Canada with his wife and two beautiful daughters. Outside of work, Saeed likes hiking with friends and family.
